Corrie Falcon - Coach, Educator, Motivator, Surfer, Stud Swimmer, and New Mom
Corrie is the current head coach of the UCSD Women's Swimming and Diving Team and has made an incredible mark on the program by producing multiple national champions, conference champions, and school record holders. Go Tritons!
Corrie was a national champion in the 400 IM (1996) and the 800 free relay (2000). She was multiple-event finalist at the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Trials and swam in two World University Games (1999, 2001). During her four years at USC she was a two year team captain and runner-up in the 400 IM at the 2000 NCAA Division I Championships. Yep. Can you say STUD?
These days Corrie participates in many open water events and surfs regularly in her Jolyn suits. Corrie has been wearing Jolyn since the very early days of the company and still is one of our loyal customers. Thanks Corrie!!
- What’s your favorite beach that you have been to: Byron Bay, Australia – Where I met my husband.
- Who is your favorite athlete: Missy Franklin. Always positive and tough as nails.
- What are 3 things on your bucket list: Take my family around Australia in an campervan surfing. More babies…, noseriding
- What’s your favorite JOLYN color: Seafoam. Been my favorite color as long as I can remember.
- What’s your favorite JOLYN style and why: When I was pregnant the vent top worked best to hold in the girls… otherwise I am a traditional triangle top kinda girl.
-What motivates you: Life balance, impacting others in a positive way, success, family time, Corrie time ;)
- What activities do you do in JOLYN: Swimming—pool & open water and surfing.
- What is your signature dish in the kitchen: Loaded Vegetable Chili or Peanut Butter Butternut Squash soup…Both great this time of year
- What is your favorite workout or gym exercise: Pilates or yoga.. depending on my mood.
- What is your favorite holiday destination: I love getting into the mountains since we live at the beach. Luckily my mom lives in Utah so it’s fun visiting!
- Any last words or testimonial? The day my son was born I went for an open water swim in my Jolyn two piece. I swam out to the buoy and I think the lifeguards were a little worried as I entered the water. The swim felt amazing and I always can tell my son Kai that he went for a swim on his birthday!
