Kelley swam at New Mexico State on a full swimming scholarship and still swims for the love of competing and going fast. She competed at the 2016 Olympic Trials in the 50M free, five years after graduating college. She is also a Masters swimmer and was a Masters Nationals Champion in 2017 and 2019. She can be found practicing in the Phoenix area where she lives.

In her spare time Kelley loves to hike and explore all of what Arizona has to offer. A few of her favorite places are Havasupai in Grand Canyon, Sedona, and Mt. Lemmon.
