Haven Shepherd

"I choose joy"
After surviving a bombing that left her a double amputee in her home country of Vietnam before she was one years old, Haven was adopted and brought to the the United States by her parents. She started swimming as a child as an opportunity to do something active without having to wear her prosthetic legs. Haven made a splash on the Para scene as a sophomore in high school and is excited to represent the United States internationally this summer.
