It’s crazy season on the island 🤪 The pool has been absolutely rammed with all the swimmers and triathletes here for warm winter training camps. With only 1-2 lanes for public use, well…12 people in a lane is a bit too much for me 😫😤 . For the month of January, JOLYN asked us to talk about our swimming story so here’s mine. After many failed attempts at sports (gymnastics, dance, competitive cheer, taekwondo, volleyball, the list just goes on) I finally tried swimming at the age of 8 and it has stuck with me ever since. If I am being honest I did not think I would be swimming at the collegiate level however after visiting many schools and seeing the uplifting, positive environments provided by the team, there was no question about why I wanted to swim. I knew it was a special opportunity to be given the chance to be surrounded by what would soon become some of my best friends and the most encouraging teammates. As many of you know, I pretty much wear JOLYN suits every day at practice and at work. JOLYN provides a fun way to express yourself with patterns, bright colors, different cuts, and so on. Cold plunging is a primal experience. For the first minute, alarm bells go off and every part of me is screaming to get out of the 40 degree water and back to safety. The first two times I tried it, I didn’t think I could stay in the water for more than 3 minutes because it was almost impossible to sit through. The thought of swimming .9 miles in 32 degree water sounded so far out of reach that I started to feel overwhelmed with anxiety about telling people I was going to attempt something that I wouldn’t be able to follow through on. The third time I cold plunged, I had a breathwork/mindset coach walk me through the session. sungsation told me that it wasn’t my body screaming to get out, it was my mind, and if I could just stay still and let the cold sensation pass, it would get easier. We work on centralizing the breath to get to a place where my body stabilized and the alarm bells turned off. After a few more sessions, I was plunging for 12 minutes. [cont.]

Measure from the top of your shoulder over the fullest part of your bust, through your legs and around, up your back to the starting point.

If you are in between torse measurements or know your torso runs long, we recommend sizing up!

This version is raised over the apex, aka, more length coverage for your torso. The more rounded neckline shape stays even flatter when in streamline and a single binding loop adds a minimalist finish we love.

As always, the Jackson provides medium/full bum coverage and the adjustable tie-straps give you the perfect fit for the moment—loose for comfort or snug for speed.

Searchin' for a smaller size? Check out our 22J and 24J sizes! These suits offer a higher neckline and less fabric depth around the bum than our non-J sizes for a modest fit.

We prefer you recycle the JOLYN packaging, but you can use whatever packaging you'd like.

How do I get a return shipping label?

All you have to do is submit a return, wait for approval, and then a return shipping label will be emailed to you. The cost of the return shipping will be taken out of your refund/store credit. Easy peasy!

Does it need to be in brand new condition?

Yes! The item(s) must be unused, unworn, with no signs of washing or use. All tags and liners must be attached.

For sanitary reasons, please try on swimwear over underwear. Do not remove the hygienic liner.
